Thank you for stopping bye. A friend in the states, Rev. Chadwick Ivester (code named: Batman) suggested the name of a blog to complement various other blogs with an SBC flavour, having an SBC title (there are many SBC blogs with catchy titles such as SBCOutpost, SBCOuthouse, SBCOutpests, SBCOutcast, SBCToday, SBCYesterday, SBCTomorrow, SBCImpact, SBCDecay, SBCIndigestion, SBCConstipation) and interested in matters concerning the gospel.
Whilst I am a pastor of the Baptist Union of NSW in Australia, I have many many dear friends who are SBC.. what is SBC? Southern Baptist Convention… well here in Australia you don’t get much more Southern… This site represents a pastor of a conservative evangelical mindset who likes to use humour to connect, challenge, comfort and coerce… well maybe not coerce.. I hope we can become friends, laugh a little, think a little and help one another in the task of evangelism.
Of course, you are always welcome to come and share with us here of whatever ilk, (water or non-water, arminian or calvinist).
